To Qualify, you must meet the following INCLUSION CRITERIA:
1.) Greater than 12 years of age.
2.) Must have a clinical diagnosis of AA with no other etiology (cause) of hair loss.
3.) Must have the current episode of hair loss be greater than or equal to 10 years.
To Qualify, you must NOT meet the following EXCLUSION CRITERIA:
1.) Must NOT have other types of alopecia (including, but not limited to, traction and scarring alopecia, telogen effluvium)
2.) Must NOT have other scalp disease that may impart Alopecia Areata assessment (eg, scalp psoriasis, dermatitis, etc)
3.) Must NOT have active systemic diseases that may cause hair loss (eg, lupus, thyroiditis, etc)
